I'm Mikaela. I'd rather show you the work than talk about myself, but here's the short version.
The bench isn't a metaphor I picked out of a branding exercise. I grew up playing high-level sport, started working in gyms at seventeen, and took two degrees on the way to becoming a sports dietitian in professional rugby, soccer and AFL. Then I co-owned and ran three boxing gyms in Australia, and that's where the expensive lesson happened: I watched profitability break down the moment the owner-operator stepped out of the picture. I was the owner-operator.
And I learned the thing nobody tells you at the start: no one will ever care about your business the way you do. The next best thing is a team that feels part of something bigger, with everything they need to do their jobs well. That's an operations problem, and it became the one I can't put down.
Since then, the deep end has been the career plan. I moved into a global SaaS company and built my roles mostly by putting my hand up: Head of Operations, then Director of Customer Success, now Principal Strategic Ops. I've pulled a customer lifecycle apart from first lead to renewal and rebuilt it, and cut over $200,000 in subscription costs by consolidating tools that did the same job. Different industries, same discovery every time: the fundamentals of process carry across.
Everything else I do comes straight from sport: get one percent better every day, and never look at a process just once, because the game at $1M isn't the game at $5M or $10M. The Agent Bench is the instinct I've carried through every one of those rooms, finally given its own name.
This is built in public, and that's the point. I'm two steps ahead of you, not ten. I built my own thing while raising my standards, I stopped making excuses before I asked anyone else to, and I'll tell you about the thing I got wrong last week if it saves you a month.
My job is to stay across the tech so you don't have to, and to tell you the truth about what your business needs, including when the answer is "nothing new." You run the business; I'll watch the feed.
I don't trust hype, shortcuts, or people who talk more than they do. I trust process, consistency, and the unglamorous work that compounds.
